Name some of your hobbies or passions:
I enjoy playing and watching sports, teaching Zumba classes, creating content (Tiktok), and going on adventures in the wilderness. I am a former national alpine skier racer, so when I’m not in school, chasing winter is what I do. For me dance is not only a full body movement, but also a form of emotional expression. #Dancetherapy
Your favourite moment within your creative industry:
I got my dream internship working with SkiTV, (30 year old Canadian alpine ski broadcast station). I got to revamp their entire instagram account, got them from 5K followers to 10K. This internship led me into my job working for CBC for both the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics and the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics. Ever since I can remember I have been obsessed with the Olympics. To be able to say I have worked 2 Game before even graduating, is a dream come true.
Fun fact about yourself:
I am so passionate about diversity that I am developing an international ski league specifically designed for BiPOC ski racers to train and compete at an elite level of competition

What does diversity mean to you / why is it important?
To me diversity means that EVERYONE is included in the conversation, that everyone's opinions matter equally. It's important because none deserve to be left out based on things they cannot control. Instead Diversity & uniqueness should be celebrated. That's why where here to start DIB!

Isabella Imren Kerr
Role within the project: Writer and Filmographer on the London side of the project
Program: Illustration
Year: 2 at University of Westminster
Name some of your hobbies or passions:
I enjoy drawing and painting, as well as reading a range of different genres
Your favourite moment within your creative industry:
Earlier this year I was commissioned to paint a mural outside my accommodation building at the end of my first year at university. It was an incredible opportunity and I learnt a lot from the project which I believe will help me in the industry in the future. I worked alongside a videographer which helped me to understand a different element of the industry.
Fun fact about yourself:
My middle name is Narnia.
Dream career:
My dream job would be to illustrate horror novels. I would love to work with books such as cover and insert illustrations.
What does diversity mean to you/ why is it important?
Diversity in business means to me the ability and celebration of all different ethnicities and cultures. Feeling comfortable to share your own as well as appreciating others

Name some of your hobbies or passions:
I am super passionate about all things makeup, sneakers and music
Your favourite moment within your creative industry:
I have loved every moment, but my favourite moment in university so far has been when a famous music producer guest lectured in one of my classes.
Fun fact about yourself:
A fun fact about me is that I was a competitive dancer for 10 years.
Dream career:
My dream job would definitely be working with artists at a record label.
What does diversity mean to you/ why is it important?
To me diversity in business means making space for everyone's ideas and meaningfully considering everyone's perspectives.

Name some of your hobbies or passions:
I like to read and listen to music, a creative passion of mine is creating visual compositions through the medium of digital image/video.
Your favourite moment within your creative industry:
My favourite memory in the industry was taking my first photography class in high school and having access to real camera equipment and Adobe Photoshop which allowed me to have a lot of fun trying things that I wasn’t able to previously.
Fun fact about yourself:
A fun fact about me is that I have 2 cats and a dog who is named squeak.
Dream career:
I can see myself pursuing something like public relations or marketing, though I would’ve liked to have worked in graphic design if the pay was better.
What does Diversity mean to you / why is it important?
Diversity in business to me means seeing people of different ethnicities, cultural backgrounds, nationalities, genders and sexualities all working together as equals. This is especially important in Canada and England because both are such diverse places and this should extend to business and the workplace.

Diversity in business can expose people to cultures they don't usually have access to, reduce barriers and get to know people in different regions better.

Name some of your hobbies or passions:
Pop culture! Film, television, music, art - yes please. In my spare time, I play guitar, draw and paint, read, and can often be found photographing a show. I'm fascinated by youth culture and its iterations throughout the century.
Your favourite moment within your creative industry:
I assisted in the promotion and showcase of a 'Come Up To My Room' exhibit at the Gladstone Hotel in my first year. Speaking with the audience about the work and viewing their reaction to it was dazzling. It was the first time my imagined future became present - it solidified my feeling of belonging to our industry.
Fun fact about yourself:
If I was a candy, I'd be Pop Rocks.
